"Environmental change in European start-uppers thinking and acting - the solution for common sustainable development."
The European Union aims to be climate neutral by 2050. To achieve this goal, the European Green Deal promotes opportunities and initiatives to foster the transition to a sustainable economy. Aligned with these principles, the Environmental Change Project promotes active re-education and further training to reap the benefits of the eco-transition. The project aims to promote and validate knowledge, skills and attitudes on climate change and sustainable development in six key areas.

TARGET GROUPS
The environmental change project aims to strengthen and validate the capacities of start-ups, young entrepreneurs, SMEs and vocational training providers (trainers, teachers) in environmental change.
RESULTS AND ACTIVITIES
Environmental curriculum to strengthen professional development and vocational training providers in environmental change competences/skills. A modular training program, framed by the EU instruments for mobility and transparency (EQF, ECVET, EQAVET) and focusing on the circular economy as an alternative route to self-employment. An environmental application for beginners, designed for mobile learning structured around the key project areas.
Stakeholder engagement (educational institutions, development agencies, chambers of commerce, start-up incubators, SMEs) through dissemination and scaling-up activities to promote the project results, including six national outreach seminars.
